When a guest makes or manages a booking, the website may collect:
- Guest name, phone number and email address.
- Booking and stay details, including check-in and check-out dates.
- Selected room and guest-count information.
- Payment and transaction references.
- Extra-charge and checkout information associated with the stay.
Why the information is used
This information may be used for:
- Creating, confirming and managing reservations.
- Communicating with guests about their booking or stay.
- Confirming payments and preparing receipts or bills.
- Managing rooms, stay details, extras and checkout.
- Handling cancellation or refund requests.
- Legitimate operational and recordkeeping purposes connected with the homestay.
Payments
Online payments are processed through Razorpay. The current Ibbani Homestay system stores relevant payment and transaction references used to confirm and reconcile a booking. It does not claim to store a guest's full card or UPI credentials.
Service providers
Information may be processed through service providers that are genuinely used to operate the current website, including Razorpay for payment processing and email infrastructure for booking communication. These providers handle information under their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
Website analytics
Ibbani Homestay uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the public website and to improve the website experience. Google Analytics may collect technical and usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, traffic source and interaction data, and may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement.
Ibbani Homestay does not intentionally send guest names, phone numbers, email addresses, booking details, payment IDs or full payment credentials to Google Analytics. Analytics information may be processed by Google in accordance with Google's own privacy practices.
Records and security
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used to protect booking and stay information. No specific retention period is promised because a formal business retention schedule has not yet been finalised. Information may be retained where reasonably required for reservation management, billing, operational records, dispute handling or applicable obligations.
